1. What is Simply Delicious Dinners?

Simply Delicious Dinners is a fresh, healthy, and affordable meal preparation (fully prepared meals) and catering business that services a large portion of New Jersey that is specifically designed to relieve pressure and anxiety from hard working singles, couples, and families when it comes to dinner and meal preparation.  Planning dinners is stressful and busy lives means busy people who do not always have the time to shop and cook for themselves and their families and do not want to resort to unhealthy and expensive fast food.

We are not subscription based, like most of our competitors.  Therefore, we never lock our customers into any type of monthly or yearly contract.  Our customers are free to order whenever they want.

We free your mind from all meal planning, shopping, preparation, and clean up responsibilities. We slice, dice, chop, measure, and prepare everything for you! Then we package your meals, freeze them, and deliver them directly to your door with no delivery change. All you have to do is thaw your meals and follow our very simple cooking instructions (with most meals ready in less than 20 minutes).

Simply Delicious Dinners' customers simply review our deliciously diverse online menu that changes each month at www.simplydeliciousdinners.com and select their dinners from a menu featuring up to 15 items like Steak, Chicken, Pasta, Seafood, and much, much more. Our customers can choose 3-serving or 6-servings dinners, in any combination that works best for themselves and their families (Our minimum order is 30-servings). Note: 1st time customers can try us out with a minimum of only 18 servings.

Our customers will then select a delivery day & time and pay for their meals securely online with a MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or through PayPal.  If you prefer a specific delivery date/time that you had in mind, simply leave us a note in the comment box at checkout or send us an email and we'll try our best to accommodate you.

Our goal at Simply Delicious Dinners is to relieve stress and the burden of dinner and meal preparation and allow families and busy professionals more time to relax and focus on more important concerns and let us to bring healthy, affordable, and delicious dinners home to you!

We are a fully insured and fully licensed food preparation business in the state of NJ.

All food is prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen.

All employees are ServSafe certified.

2. How Simply Delicious Dinners different from other similar businesses?

 

We are not subscription based, like most of our competitors.  Therefore, we never lock our customers into any type of monthly or yearly contract.  Our customers are free to order whenever they want.

 

We are much more affordable

 

Most similar services deliver just a box of ingredients in a refrigerated box that could sit on your doorstep all day.  This is not something we would ever do.  We do NOT just drop off a box of ingredients.  We do all the meal preparation work (shopping, slicing, dicing, chopping, measuring) for our customers so that when our customers receive our meals, there is minimal work beyond following our simple cooking instructions.  We also employ a much more personal approach, by letting our customers schedule a date/time that is convenient for them so they can receive their meals personally.

 

Our portions are much larger & Include sides with most meals.  We deliver our meals in either 5 lb loaf tin pans or large zip lock bags depending on the type of meal.  Our meals come in either 3 or 6 serving portions.

 

Our customers really seem to like the diversity of our monthly menus.  We try our best to provide new and exciting options each month for our customers.  We also include side dishes with most of our non-pasta meals for our customer’s convenience.

 

We recently launched a new website that is much more user-friendly for our customers and added a catering menu as well!  We also included a quick 2-minute video that fully & simply explains our offerings to our customers so there is confusion.

 

We also don’t make our customers scour the internet for coupons.  So, once you place your first order with us or simply sign up to our mailing list in general, we’ll send our customers periodic menu updates with coupons included in our emails.  

 

3. When do you deliver?

Check our delivery schedule for delivery dates in your area each month.  Delivery times are 12-2 pm and 6-8 pm.  Delivery is always free. If you prefer a delivery date/time that is more convenient for you, simply leave us a note in your comment box at checkout or send us an email to simplydeliciousdinners@outlook.com and we'll try our best to accommodate you.

4. Where do you deliver?

We are based in Central New Jersey, but deliver to a very large portion of NJ including Somerset, Mercer, Morris, Union, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Warren, Essex, Hudson, and some parts of Sussex County.

5. Do I need to be home to accept my delivery?

Yes, your meals are delivered to you frozen and will need to be placed in your freezer upon delivery. We also verify the accuracy of your order during delivery.

6. Where do you source your ingredients from?

The quality and freshness of our ingredients are incredibly important to us, so we only work directly with safe and reputable distributors.

7. What is the best way to thaw my meals?

The best and safest way to thaw your meals is with refrigerator thawing. Simply take your meal out of the freezer the night before you plan on having it and place it into the refrigerator to thaw. Even 2-5 days prior to cooking is fine. If your meal is packaged in zip lock bags, you can also thaw them in your microwave. Note: Some meals come in tins and cannot be placed into the microwave for safety reasons. In addition, if your meal is packaged in zip lock bags, you can also thaw it by submerging the bag in cold water. Never use hot water as that can cause the outer layer of the food to heat up to a temperature where harmful bacteria begin to multiply. You should estimate about 30 minutes of thawing time per pound of food.

8. Do your dinners come with sides?

Yes, most of our non-pasta meals come with a side like vegetables (i.e. green beans, carrots, roasted tomatoes, broccoli), mashed potatoes, cauliflower mash, or fries, etc.

9. Does Simply Delicious Dinners provide nutritional information for its dinners?

Yes, we provide nutrional information for all our dinners.  Our nutritional information is based on individual servings.  To view our nutritional information, simply click on "Order My Meals" and click on each individual dinner to view nutritional information at the bottom of the page.

10. Do you offer a referral program?

 

We appreciate any and all referrals from our loyal customers.  Therefore, any individual that provides a referral that leads directly to a new order will receive a $25 coupon code that can be used on their next purchase and is valid for up to 1 year.  Each individual successful referral will lead to $25 coupon.  Simply have the individual you are giving the referral enter your name in the comment box at checkout or you/your referral can send us direct email mentioning who referred them and we'll send out a coupon that day.

 
11. I see that I am able to view Next Month's Menu, but am I able to order from Next Month's Menu:
 
At this time, customers are only able to order from the Current Month's Menu that debut's on the 1st of each month and are only able to view the meal items that are available on Next Month's Menu.  If this changes in the future, we'll certainly promptly communicate it our customers.
 
12. Will Simply Delicious Dinners Work With Those With Allergies?
 
The safety of our customers and their families is extremely important to us. Therefore, when you register your account during the ordering process you are asked if you or your family members have any allergies and what specific types of allergies you have.  If an allergy is noted in a customers registration info, you will be contacted via email or phone and we will work to address those allergy concerns with that specific customer and prepare your meals accordingly. 
 
 
13. What is your cancellation/refund policy?

You can cancel your order and receive a refund up to 5 days prior to your delivery date.

 

14. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. All payments are securely processed through our website.
